Been so long since I updated this blog because I was busy in real life. So, here's my updates =)
I love eating congee (or porridge for some people). Especially the congee at Hayam Wuruk, on the street next to Suisse bakery, I usually call this place "bubur Boy" (that's the owner name, but some people might know this place name as "bubur hostes". Hostes means hooker in old days, this is because this place used to open only at midnight, so a lot of hostes ate there, but now-a-days, they're open by 9 or 10pm.) . I usually bought these for the meat:
1. char siu (bbq pork). The pork is tangy and the sweetness is just right for me =)
2. Roast pork This is my favorite dish! The skin of the roast pork is really crispy, like crackers. The pork itself is salty.... nyam2...Don't skip this one if you're in this place. =D It's simply the best
3. Soy sauced egg. It's a little sweet but has some saltiness into it.
Hi, the photos you took are from Bubur Hostess Hayam Wuruk which is not Bubur Boy. The real Bubur Boy which owner is Boy is in Jelambar. It's open Mon-Sat from 06.00 - 12.00.
ReplyDeleteHanny (daughter of Boy, Bubur Hostess/ Bubur Boy)
aren't they related tho? because when i eat at Hayam Wuruk, they told me about Boy that sells the porridge at another place but morning til noon. And, my dad used to know Boy at Hayam Wuruk, back when the Blue Ocean (I think what the club called) still happening.
ReplyDeleteBtw, where in Jelambar exactly?
