Yum Yum

Food is basic needs of our life and let's just say I'm a needy one on this category. I love good food! In this blog, I'd post pic of foods I dine in restaurants and tell what I think about them. I might also cook/bake sometime =)

oyster egg at Sai Woo, Jalan Alor, Kuala Lumpur

On my last night at Kuala Lumpur to celebrate New Year's Eve with my friend, I went to Jl. Alor to devour my favorite food in KL. It's the oyster egg at Sai Woo, Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang area.

The whole street of Alor is a food stall area. But I always eat at this Sai Woo stall.
The egg is crispy yet the oyster is fresh and not dry. Really nice, it's still consistent thru out the years.
Love it so much.
If you like oyster and you're at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you would need to try this.
I finished 1 large portion all by myself, and I actually still want more >_<

Once again, very recommended!!!

T-bowl concept Restaurant @Sungei Wang Mall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I saw this restaurant advertisement when I was "adventuring" through the Sungei Wang mall to find some souvenirs and clothes. I did find what I need and some more :D Love the mall !

I know this restaurant came from Taiwan and all the plates and bowl supposed to look like a toilet. So, we decided to give it a try.

This is chicken kamemashi (I think that's the name). It's a deep fried chicken and served with sauce on top of rice. The bowl looks like a toilet, isn't it ? :)

This is cheesy minced pork rice. Basically minced pork and egg served with rice and covered with melted cheese and topped with meat floss. I would say the cheese is nice, melty but also crispy. The egg is also nice flavored  the soy sauce infused into the white egg nicely. However, I don't really like the pork, because I can still feel the pork smell. And, yet again the bowl looks like a toilet :D.

Look at that toilet glass! And the dog is drowning in it :O Help!
He he it's actually an Oreo blended drink, mine infused with mocha flavor  The dog was made from whipped cream, chocolate chip and Oreo biscuit. The taste is mediocre, but quite nice to see the shape.

Overall, the concept is nice, however I wouldn't recommend to eat here if you're looking for great taste. Solely for the nice pictures and funny yet weird experience of sitting on a toilet seat while eating everything out of toilet bowl / glass.

PS: They also have an ice cream cone and they shape the ice cream like a poop :D
I didn't try this coz i'm already full, but I saw the other table eat it, quite funny :P

Deep fried durian @ Resort World, Genting, Malaysia

Deep fried Durian @Genting Resort World, Malaysia

I stumbled upon this stall when I went inside Genting Resort World, but I didn't pay attention at first. Then, my cousin message me saying that there's a deep fried durian at Resort World that's die die have to try one. So, I made my way all the way back to the stall, just to try it.

4pieces for 6RM. Not too expensive, considering the taste is really nice.
You can't say it's full durian inside, I think they mixed it with flour first then dipped into the batter before frying. But you can taste it is real durian, not some kind of paste.
The crunchiness also nice.

When I bought it , there's only that 4pcs left. I'm not sure if that's the last batch or they will be frying it again later on. But, my cousin did say that the second time she wants to buy again, they're out of stock already. So, better get it fast, all! :P
